You can feel safe in the knowledge that you're leaving your little ones in a secure, caring and fun environment where they will thrive. As a mother I understand that leaving your child for the first time is difficult, but I'm here to help you both to settle into a new routine and ensure you and your child is happy. I provide high quality childcare within the guidelines of OFSTEDs Birth 3 Matters programme. During your child's time in my care I offer a well balance routine that's supplemented with lots of stimulating toys and activities to encourage your child to learn and grow. I'll provide you with a regular record of your childs progress and with your permission will also document their development photographically.I am delighted to have recived a GOOD grade on my Ofsted inspection My door is always open and I'm happy to discuss your child's needs in person, over the phone or by email.

BreakfastEach morning we offer options from the following:Cereals including Rice Krispies and Weetabix, porridge, toast with jam or marmite and a variety of fruitLunchWe provide a hot cooked lunch that's rotated on a weekly basis followed by fruit for dessert. Below you'll find a typical menu:Please let us know if your child has any specific dietary requirements due to religious beliefs or allergies and we will do our utmost to accommodate them. We ask all parents of children under one to provide their own freshly cooked food, as children of this age are more used to their own food. However we are happy to provide food for you.

What do parents need to provide?We request that you provide your child with the items below for each session they attend. Items needed will depend on your little ones age and season.A bag containing nappies, wipes and a change of clothesA favourite toy, dummy or other familiar comforts that will make your child feel happy and secureIn warm weather we recommend a sun hat and sun creamIn cooler weather Wellington boots and warm coats Please ensure that all these items are clearly marked with your childs name. What if my child is unwell?If you notice your child is unwell on a day they are meant to be at Happy Kids, we would request that you keep them at home to ensure any illness is not spread around the group. Please call us to let us know child will not be attending. If your child develops symptoms whilst in our care we will kindly request you take them home. It is Happy Kids responsibility to make sure that any illness in the group is contained.How much do you charge and what does this include?Our rates are £6.00 per hourThese will be charged monthly on either a 4-5 week periodFees include: BreakfastLunchTea Mid-morning and after noon snacks as neededWater is freely available to your child at all timesWhat are your opening hours?We're open from 7.30 am to 6.30 pm Monday to FridayDo you have set holiday times?Here at Happy Kids we are happy to honour up to 20 fee-free holiday days each year. We'll be shut for two weeks during the summer period (10 days) however plenty of notice will be provided as to when this period will occur. Any additional holiday time taken outside of the 20 day allowance will be charged. Are refunds available?We are unable to refund your fees if your child falls ill, is on holiday, collected early or if one of their usually days falls on a bank holiday. However if for circumstances beyond your control your child needs to take a longer break from the group we will make alternative arrangements on an individual basis.Pick-ups & Drop-offsTo minimise disturbance to our neighbours we kindly request that you pick-up and drop-off as quickly as possible. Please respect their property and do not block the road.
